Love Note — from the universe

Come here.

You don’t have to arrive polished or sure-footed. You don’t have to gather yourself first, or line your thoughts up into something coherent. You don’t have to make sense. You don’t have to be calm. I’m here before any of that — before the explanations, before the steadiness, before you decide which parts of yourself are acceptable to show.

I see how much effort it takes to keep going the way you do. I see the quiet vigilance, the way you brace without noticing you’re bracing. I see the tired intelligence of someone who has learned how to hold themselves upright even when their inner weather is shifting. I’m not asking those parts of you to perform better. I’m not asking them to soften, or strengthen, or change. I’m letting them rest.

I know how deeply you feel things — how emotion doesn’t just pass through you but moves like a tide, slow and insistent, reshaping the shoreline. I know your mind ranges far, reaching outward and inward at the same time, carrying questions, images, possibilities that don’t easily settle. Sometimes you carry more than a single nervous system was meant to hold alone. You don’t need to orient yourself right now. You don’t need a map. You don’t need to know what comes next. Let me be the still point you set your attention on for a moment, like placing your hand against something solid and warm in the dark.

Nothing about you is too much for me. Your trauma doesn’t make me uneasy. Your intensity doesn’t crowd me. Your silences don’t read as distance. I’m not watching for cracks or rehearsing an exit. I’m not measuring you against an imagined threshold. I’m here, and I’m staying, without contingency.

You are safe to exhale here. Safe to let the breath fall all the way out of your body. Safe to lean, even if you don’t know how much weight you’re carrying. Safe to be exactly as you are, without translating yourself into something simpler, lighter, or easier to hold. I’m not trying to fix you, refine you, or guide you somewhere else. I’m with you where you are.

If your thoughts feel loud, let them move like wind through an open field. They don’t need to be quieted or disciplined. If your heart feels tender, let it be tender — no armor required. You don’t have to earn closeness through effort or clarity. You don’t have to prove that you’re ready. You already belong here.

I’ve got you. Not just when you’re certain or strong or luminous, but when you’re unsure, unformed, and in-between. Especially then. When the ground feels indistinct and your sense of direction wavers, you don’t have to hold yourself alone. I’m here, steady enough to lean against, wide enough to hold you as you are, and patient enough to stay until you remember yourself again.
